International Jazz, Music

& Dance Festival

June 19 — 22, 2025

Karachacha Fest is Peru’s Premier International Jazz, Music and Dance Festival

Karachacha Fest nurtures the love for Afro-Peruvian Jazz, Music and Dance.

All artists participate as both headliners of their own projects and in collaboration with other musicians and dancers.

The Gabriel Alegria Afro-Peruvian Sextet performs all four days of the festival and hosts guest artists at each performance.

Our mission is to strengthen the international arts community by developing concerts, artistic exchanges, partnerships, educational initiatives, community programs, and collaborations that further the understanding of Afro-Peruvian art forms.

Our vision encompasses presenting a wide spectrum of music and dance including evolving forms and technologies that are open to cross-cultural exchange with Afro-Peruvian Arts.

Karachacha Fest is like walking into your own birthday party where thousands are your closest friends

The comradery between artists, students and attendees of the festival is palpable.

A wide array of Music and Dance is presented at Karachacha Fest including Classical, World, Jazz, Electronica, Folklore, Ballet and Modern Dance.

Audiences and artists alike explore the depth and breadth of Afro-Peruvian Jazz, Music, Dance and culture during this 4-day festival.

Karachacha Fest is designed to foster and nurture collaboration between participating artists and audiences in order to further the love for Afro-Peruvian Music and Dance
